I’m the creator behind bakedbylaora on Instagram and the heart (and hands!) behind every sweet creation you see here. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark, with my wonderful family, but my roots trace back to Kosovo and Albania, where food and family have always been at the center of everything. Baking has been my creative outlet for as long as I can remember, a way to express love, celebrate traditions, and bring people together around something homemade and heartfelt.

What started as a small passion project in my kitchen has turned into a space where I share my favorite recipes, design dreamy cakes and desserts, and connect with an amazing community of fellow baking enthusiasts. My style combines classic homemade comfort with a modern, artistic touch, I love creating bakes that taste as good as they look. Whether I’m experimenting with new flavor pairings, decorating cookies late into the night, or perfecting the swirl on a buttercream cake, I pour a little piece of myself into everything I make.

Through Baked by Laora, my goal is to spread warmth, creativity, and inspiration, to show that baking doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. Every dessert tells a story, and I hope mine inspire you to create your own.
