Restaurant cookies - from my restaurant series
Have you ever seen a freshly baked cookie with a glass of milk on the side? If yes, let me know where because I need to have this after a meal some day! This restaurant style cookie is what I imagine I would serve if I owned my own restaurant. Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside!
For 10 cookies:
Ingrediens:
175 g salted butter
175 g white sugar
85 g brown sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp vanilla extract
240 g flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
200 g chocolate (I used 100 g chocolate chips and
100 g high quality dark chocolate above 60%)
Instructions:
1. Combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract and whisk for 1 min by hand.
3. Add the egg and whisk for another minute.
4. Fold in the dry ingredients following the chocolate, set in the fridge for at least 20-30 minutes.
5. Preheat oven to 175°C (fan oven). Line a piece of parchmentpaper on your oven tray, add your round tart cutters add a cookieballs in each section make sure to leave plenty of space inbetween them.
6. Bake the cookies for 15-17 minutes, and serve with a fresh cold glass of milk.
